Alex 4 years 6 months and Zach 25 months

What a busy month!!  We had less than a week at home before we were off to Chicago for Christmas!

We squeezed in a little time on the choo choo!

And a quick swim lesson!

I was able to pick up the frame I had put together for Alex's first Sox game.  I think I went a little overboard but really like it!

Then off to Chicago we went...
Shortly after we got in we headed over to Auntie Kay's for the annual cookie decoration party!  It was crazy and a lot of fun!!

Pete got caught with his hand in the cookie jar!

The girls (me, Lauren, and Becky) took a moment for a photo op!

and lots of cookies were decorated and consumed!

Lauren and the boys continued their selfie tradition!

And the boys both enjoyed the treats Nana bought for them!

Alex worked on a project with Nana!

And the boys tried to show love to one another!

We then headed to the city for some fun with the Pieper's and Winter Wonder fest at Navy Pier!

Zach LOVES buses so was very excited to ride the 'city' bus!

We also stayed in a hotel for the night and the kids got to spend some time in the pool!

Despina was busy trying to talk Zach off the ledge!  :)

While Pieper and Zach enjoyed some bonding time!

Nothing like staying in a hotel room - especially when there are lots of fun things to play with that you don't have at home.

The next morning we met the Condon's for our annual Christmas Eve breakfast at the Walnut Room.

Fairy Dust and all!

Then unfortunately we had to check out of the hotel and head back to the burbs.

That evening we had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at the Studzinski's!   Alex enjoyed his time with the girls!

This is what the back of the oplatki line now looks like!!

The boys had fun opening their gifts!

Zach of course loved all of Alex's toys!

We didn't know it at the time but this was the last time we saw Grandma Studzinski!  She passed away Christmas Eve!  Thankfully she got to see all 12 of her great grand children, even her namesake that was born 3 months earlier.

All 12 great grand children

All 10 grand children

Santa was a very lucky man this year!

Christmas morning before it was torn apart!

Alex and his God Father, Mike at Auntie Kay's for Christmas Brunch!

Alex and his new Black hawk gear!

After Christmas we were a little delayed getting out of town so we spent two days at the Frankfort Children's museum.  It was a lot of fun!

Picture of my Texas family!  Can't believe how grown up everyone is getting!  The tallest girl on the far left was a flower girl in our wedding only 5 years ago!!

In honor of Grandma Studzinski here are some amazing pictures of her and her family!

Not the best reason to be back in Chicago but still nice to spend time with my mother-n-law!

Alex loves his bow!
