Alex - 17 months

The highlight of Alex's 17th month was Thanksgiving in Orlando. The whole family was there and we had nice warm weather.

Alex hit the jackpot with the beads. He has really fallen in love with the beads - lets just hope we can keep him away from Mardi Gras until he is at least 21... http://youtu.be/7qh3Tca6aeM

Alex really enjoyed the box of toys (Thanks Aunt Tobi)!!

It was really nice spending a few days with Lea and Trent. Alex really enjoyed their company, especially Lea ... http://youtu.be/L4eNYktu0QY

... and Trent.

On November 27th Trent turned two. We had a few people over to the house for the celebration, including the Longwood Fire Department.

When we made it home Luke and Avery (friends from Houston) were waiting to meet us at the aquarium. Alex enjoyed the sharks.

Alex - 16 months

Little buddy is becoming a big time explorer these days. He started out his 16 month relying on objects/fingers to help him get around (http://youtu.be/dbVOWnfCnfQ) but by the end of the month he was flying solo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtQnDh8CUmE). His first official walk date is 10/22 but within two weeks of that he was basically running around.

The Gators have had a rough year but that hasn't stopped Alex from cheering for them.

Alex is really, really into dogs (from a far). He was mesmerized by a dog out in front of the house in this picture.

A beautiful butterfly Alex and I saw on our walk.

Mr. Sophisticated!

My family came into town for Tara Oliver's Wedding (family friend from way back in the day).

Christina and Matt. If you haven't heard they are expecting their first at the end of February.

Learning how to operate the front camera on my new iPhone.

Not the best picture but oh well!

The whole Sleepy Hollow crew.

Watching the Florida game (on Pete's iPhone) at the reception.

Great picture of my mom and dad.

Alex and I on a COLD October morning.

Alex's first haircut. I have no idea what I'm doing but it did actually look better when I was done.

Alex wasn't so sure that would be the case.

But it did look better in the end.

Daycare Halloween parade.

Alex the Fireman.

Alex dressed up for our neighborhood party. Doesn't he look thrilled. :)

Alex and I ready for a walk.

Before the walk...

... halfway through the walk.

Surprise!!

Working on his model posing.

Learning that mom freaks out when I stick my finger up my nose!! :)

My sweet bruiser!

Alex displaying his strength and his Polish nose!!

His new thing that I think is the cutest thing ever. The "I don't know" hands.

Alex's first REAL haircut!

He doesn't look like my baby anymore!
