Alex 3 years 11 months/ Zach 18 months

The boys are getting so big.  Alex will be 4 shortly and Zach is starting to talk up a storm.  Mostly just one words but he can say... "all through the town"... Wheels on the Bus being his favorite song right now.  Zach just had his 18 month check up and he continues to be really tall and skinny (although not as skinny as Alex).  He was 83 percentile for height and 36 percentile for weight.

Zach loves to ride Brownie...

... and play at the park.  He is not at all timid like his brother.

He also loves Alex's cowboy boots that are still about two sizes two big.

Alex came to me the other day and said he really, really wanted a Doc McStuffins cell phone.  I obviously didn't want to just buy it for him and his birthday was still awhile away so I told him that if he picked 10 toys from the toy room to give to charity he could get a new phone.  I honestly think he had more fun picking out the toys and taking them to Goodwill then he did have picking out his new cell phone.

I love it when he has conversations on the phone and tells me he is going to text me something!  This kid really pays attention!

At the end of May I went out to Seattle to meet up with Lauren (Pete's sister), Becky (Pete's cousin), and Jordan (Pete's cousin) at Taylor's (Pete's cousin) new house.  It was a really fun girls weekend!  To really enjoy my trip I flew first class out there.  I forgot how much fun it was to travel (especially when you go first class)!!  The picture above and below didn't do the view justice (especially after a few glasses of wine) but I still had to post them.

What Zach was up to while I was gone!

Saw this beautiful bird while I was out for a walk!

We hit up a couple wineries while we were in Seattle.  Chateau Set Michelle was by far the best winery we visited!

How Zach spent a good portion of the time while I was gone!  Zach has been in 10x more time outs than Alex has ever been!!  His favorites as of late - hitting (who ever is closest when he is mad/frustrated) and spitting out his milk or water (for no particular reason besides he thinks it is fun).

I brought back Alex a snow globe and he was so excited about it that he carried it around every where he went.  Unfortunately he kept dropping it!  About 4 hours after I gave it to him it busted open when it hit the kitchen floor.  He was SO upset that it broke my heart.  Thankfully I remembered the store I bought it at, called them and they were nice enough to ship me a new one.  The cheap souvenir I brought him back quickly doubled in cost!  Oh well it was worth it and now instead of carrying it around everywhere he goes, he sleeps with it every night!

Alex loves to help clean!  And I let him, even if it doesn't really provide any cleaning value, it keeps him happy and quite!  :)

Maggie (our nanny) took some really great picture of the boys for Father's Day!!  Love these guys!!
