This month didn't start out so great. Alex landed in the hospital with a concussion. Poor guy ended up on an IV but it helped him get better! Then the highlight of the month was our trip to the beach with the Lonergan's and Pieper's!! Fun to see all the kids together!
It was a minor fall but he must have hit his head in just the wrong spot. He really freaked me out. He kept acting like he wanted to go to sleep then he started throwing up so I'm glad we headed for the hospital!
This was after the IV and a Popsicle - feeling much better!
After a few days he was back to his normal helping self!!

Every year we look forward to the Soldiers Day Parade that is just right outside our neighborhood.

The next day we had a play date with some of the kids from Alex's class and thankfully there is a little girl around Zach's age.

We stopped by my cousin's beach house on the way to our beach house. Zach had some fun snuggling up with his 2nd cousin once removed (or something like that), Chloe!
We had a great week at the beach with the Lonergan's and the Pieper's. In true Mikos fashion the kids we sick at the end of the trip but they made the most of the first part of the trip!
