Zach 4 month Professional Pictures

I just realized I never posted Zach's 4 month pictures to the blog so you get two postings in one month! Hopefully most of you have seen these!!  We will have another session in August so looking for another posting of professional pictures in September!!

Alex 34 months/Zach 5 months

Time is just flying by, we have so many activities to keep us busy!  Alex finished school this month.  He had a great first year.  He learned so much and made some great friends.  Thanks are really working out with our new nanny.  Both our boys love her and Pete and I do too!!

She often sends us pictures of the boys - I thought this one was a great picture of Zach!

So we got our bonuses from work and Pete decided to spend a little of it on a special treat for Alex.  So Pete and Alex went to the toy store and came home with a pink Dora tent!!

We then talked Alex into taking it back and getting a more manly Cars tent!  Alex really loves Dora so I think he misses the Dora tent a little but the Cars one does have balls!!!

Alex showing some love to his brother!

Alex is showing more interest in his brother here is a good example - Video.

The picture above is Zach (at 5 months) in the shirt that Alex didn't wear until he was a year old.  The picture of Alex is closer up but they are close to the same size.

My sweet boy sleeping during a walk.

Here is a picture of Spencer.  He is getting around really good (@about 9 months) and enjoys eating his dog's tail.

Alex enjoying a cupcake!  He has his father's love for sweets!

My patriotic cowboy!

The bag boy!

Alex plays a lot more on his own and he has a really good imagination.  He also is learning so much from school, other people, and songs.  Here is a cute video that I think incorporates all of that.

My Grandpa Bob passed away Sunday April 28 at the age of 90.  He lived a good, long life and was loved by many.  Here are a few recent pictures of him, my family, and my Grandma.

My mom and I made the trip to Oklahoma for the funeral.  Funerals are always a sad occasion but it is always nice that they bring friends and family together.  It was great to spend some one on one time with my mom.

View from the damn.  The land on the left is where my grandma lives.

More views on the way to grandma's.

Nice lake view heading down the hill to the area they live.

Grandma and I before the funeral.

Uncle Jeff, Grandma, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Jerry, and my mom.

Grandma, Jeff, and my mom.

Pete's place.  This is really close to my grandma's, and when I say close I mean about 20 minutes away.

Fort Smith airport bathroom - nicest airport bathroom I've ever seen.

And nicest airport lobby.

Alex painting his firetruck - not really sure what made him decide to do this but I thought it was cute.

Here is a short video of him painting the truck.

Fun at a Gymboree birthday party.

Happy Zach.  I thought Alex was a happy guy but Zach bring a whole new meaning to happy!

My dad and Alex playing Barbies.  Never thought I'd type that statement.

Zach and cousin Lea.

Zach and cousin Spencer.

Second last day of school.  Alex's class had a music presentation for the parents.  If you haven't been to our house lately, Alex has a HUGE love for music.  Especially musical instruments.  He knows them all.  He has most of the musical instruments they make in a kid size.  He really wants a trombone but they don't make any kid trombones - not that I can find at least.

Finally, Zach is a lot more aggressive about getting around then Alex was.  He really likes to try to get to Alex's books and legos.  He can spin around on his belly and roll over real good and that is the main way he gets around.  He also does this funny thing where he looks like he is trying to swim in order to move places.  Here is a cute video of that effort.
