Christina's Wedding Weekend

Christina and Matt got married May 15, 2010 in Hilton Head, SC. It was a beautiful beach wedding. We got lucky and had great weather! I've been some what of a slacker lately with the camera but luckily Pete got some good pictures of the actual wedding.

Christina's shower/bachelorette Party.

Mom ended up getting crazy and taking a big Tequila shot.

The night didn't get to crazy. It was a fun time hanging out with family and friends!

Lea and Trent. I got to spend a bunch of time with Trent this weekend and he is such a cutie. Such a sweet little boy that melts your heart when he smiles at you!

Lea practicing walking down the aisle with Noah. She surprised me and did really good. The girl doesn't have a shy bone in her body so that definitely helped!!

The married couple to be!

Pregnant lady Cheese!

Mom working hard at the rehearsal dinner - serving brownies! Mom definitely gets the MVP for the wedding weekend. She worked her tail off! Tu (hopefully I spelled that right), Christina's friend gets the MVP runner up award. He also worked very hard and was also one of the photographers.

The boys and some late night antics.

More antics!

The wedding day! The men were lucky and had two women per guy! Amanda (friend), Paul (brother), and Joannie (friend).

It was a bright day so there was a lot of squinting. Sissy (friend), Nick (brother), and Lisa (sister).

Lorissa (friend), Max (Matt's Dad), and me.

Noah (nephew) and Lea (niece)

Lea has a thing for Matt. Lisa had been preparing Lea for her duties in the wedding and anytime they talked about the wedding Lea said she was going to marry Matt. Well she gave it a good shot. The wedding had barely started when she was all ready bugging Matt.

Matt's mom performed the ceremony.

Lea really wasn't good at standing still - but I guess what 3 year old is.

Lisa tried to get her to stay back.

Good thing Christina is so laid back and actually thought it was all funny! As did everyone else.

The married couple! Christina and Matt Nunez!

Trying to give the pictures a little something different.

The wedding party

And of course Lea doing her own thing.

And doing what she loves to do best... run!

The Cooley family.

The Sleepy Hollow group!

Cutting the cake...

good catch Matt!

Lea waited all day for the cupcake!

As you can tell she enjoyed it!

Lea's 3rd Birthday

Pete and I made the trip down to Newnan a little early to help Lisa and Tim get ready for Lea's 3rd Birthday Party. This year the weather was much better than last. It wasn't to hot and there was no rain this year!!

Little Trent is getting so big and blonde!

Lea opening her presents from Pete and I.

Hopefully this will not bring her bad luck!

We were prepared for the rain but luckily the umbrella and rain boots weren't needed - even though the rain boots got used!

Lea helping Pete fill the water balloons

Lea all ready for the party and for the water balloon fight that is to come!

Lea being pushed by Ethan on her new swing.

Lea looking cute as ever!

Kathy and Ryan

Julia having fun on the swings

Tim and the target of all the water balloons!!

As you can see everyone had fun with the water balloon fight - even Tim! It didn't take the kids long to learn who the real target was...

and stayed until all the balloons were gone!

Pete and Trent

More fun at the party...

Lea more prepared for the water gun fight - to bad she couldn't keep her water gun pointed in the right direction!!

She just thought it was safe to put her dress back on - she didn't stay dry for long!

Some good video of the water gun fight!!!

Lea relaxing with her friends Abby and Sophia.

Lea and her Princess Birthday cake. Lisa did a great job making it from scratch!

Lea blowing her candles out.

Lea starting to take the cake apart.

Playing princess with her friends.

Lea following the cake!

Giving Sophia a hug good-bye (well sort of).

Lea opening her presents.

She was really excited about her presents and wanted to start opening and soon as people started coming but she had to wait. Once she started opening them it was more about pulling out the gifts - looking at them for a split second and then throwing them on the ground so she could move onto the next one. It was too cute!

Of course what would be a birthday party without bring out The Boot!! Pete and all the guys had a good time at the birthday party!!!
