Slacker (but for a good reason)

I have been a big slacker with this blog lately but it is for a good reason!!! Pete and I are expecting our first baby!! I haven't felt much like getting off the couch lately so that is the main reason for the lack of post! I'm at 13 weeks and I think I'm slowly starting to feel better. Pete are very excited about our new addition. The due date is August 1st!! Here are a few pictures from what we have been up to the past two months...

Little Trent continues to grow. Seems he has colic so it has been kind of rough for the Davies family but they are still excited and enjoying their latest addition.

In mid December Pete and I went down to Newnan to celebrate Christmas with the Davies. Lea was her usual ham - she had Pete running all around the house!!!

Here is one of the new outfits we got for Lea's babies.

Once her baby had a head band Lea insisted on putting on one herself!! Along with her tutu of course!!!

Little Trent - doing what he does often... sleeping!

Getting practice snuggling with a baby!!

Lea ready for the bright sun and the cold weather!

Trent is just ready for the cold weather.

Around the new year it was really cold in Atlanta - we even got a little snow. It stayed on the ground (or at least the side walk for several days).

We were suppose to have Nancy and Lauren come visit us for Nancy's 60th birthday but sadly on the morning they were suppose to fly out Grandpa Studz passed away so instead we made our way up to Chicago. I had made Nancy a cake so instead of her getting to enjoy the cake she just got to enjoy the picture of the cake. Thankfully Pete didn't let it go to waste. He took one for the team and ate about 85% of the cake in less than 24 hours.

A shot and a cheer for Grandpa Studz!! He will be deeply missed!! He was a great man!!

Little baby Mikos!!! This past Thursday we got to see our baby! It doesn't look like he has any arms or legs in the picture but the nurse assured us they were there (I think we saw them - just hard to tell). We did see the spine and the brain - it was really cool!!
