Alex - 27 months

I'm starting to get a little sad realizing my days of a family of three are ending, but at the same time excited about giving Alex a brother and making it a family of four.  It has just been so nice having that one on one time with Alex.  He is such a sweet loving boy I will miss my mommy and Alex time (we will still have it but just not as often)!

We go and ride the train at least once a week.  It is usually our Saturday or Sunday outing.  Alex gets to pick who rides it with him and lately Daddy has been his pick.

Alex really loves to stop and smell the flowers!  He stopped at each bush along the way.

Alex's stick garden.

As you saw from the above picture Alex loves flowers - that includes making flowers as well.

Alex is really getting into drawing, painting, and crafts.  Here is a little something him and Susana (sitter) made for Halloween.

Alex working hard on his spiders.

Preview of Alex's Christmas outfit.  Such a sweet handsome boy.

Alex's eye's lit up as we got to the top of the escalator and we saw the Christmas section at Macy's.

Can't tell from this picture but he started about 4 or 5 of these animals and as they were all singing he walked away.

I find it very odd but Alex is not afraid to be closed in a closet by himself.  He doesn't even mind if it is dark for a short period.  In this picture he kept closing the door on himself in the closet and would get mad if I opened it up.

Alex just being silly taking pictures of himself.

Another photogenic day for the little guy.

Just a little boo boo!  Any chance he gets he likes to put ice on himself.

Cousin time!  First picture with the newest addition - Spencer.

Here is one where it doesn't look like Spencer is going to fall out of Lea's arms.

Cousins playing nicely together.

Cousins watching cartoons nicely together.

Video of the cousins riding Uncle Pete's Horse.

Alex is very interested to know what is on the menu.

Alex's first push up pop.

Alex's favorite part of the whole train ride is the beginning part where the guy blows the whistle and says 'Alllll Aboard'!  Check out this video - the guy made me do it with him (watch Alex's face).

Alex loves to clean up!

Video:  I didn't think the 'watch me' phase would start this soon but he kept wanting Pete and I to watch him.  He would say, 'watch me mommy' or 'watch me daddy'.  When the neighbor came over he even went and got a chair for him, told him to sit down, and 'watch me'.  Check it out.
