Labor Day Weekend 2009

We drove to Orlando for Labor Day Weekend. We were going to a BBQ/Pool Party to celebrate a dear friends life. Many friends and family showed up to celebrate Mr Baumhofer's life. It was good to see so many people that I had grown up with. The kids had a blast playing in the pool.

More Lea

We are still having a ball living with Lisa, Tim, and Lea. Here are some of the latest pictures...


Lisa bought Lea some new bows and Lea insisted on putting them all in!

I was watching Lea one afternoon and we went in the baby pool for a bit. Lea LOVES the water!!

This picture isn't the best but she had Ravioli sauce all over her face and even in her hair!!

Babysitting Weekend

Pete and I baby sat Lea this past weekend. Watching a 2 year old for a whole weekend is no easy task, especially one as independent as Lea. It was a lot of fun and I still think Lea is the cutest, smartest kid ever. Here are a few shots from the weekend.

So we had to try and push from behind with out her noticing and then straighten her out when ever she got off course.


She liked the helmet so much she wanted to wear it while taking her baby for a walk.

Cooley Family Vacation 2009

This year we headed to Hilton Head for the Cooley Family Vacation. Christina will be getting married in Hilton Head next May so we went this year to help prep for the big event.


Lea LOVES the pool - so she spent plenty of time in the pool. We (Christina) found an amazing house that was big enough for all of us and even had its own pool.

This past week Lea discovered her shadow. The beach made it real easy to chase her shadow (see video at bottom of post).

Lea wasn't a big fan of the ocean but she did like the baby pools that formed in the afternoon when the tide went out.

Moving Day

If you haven't heard, Pete and I recently got a contract on our townhouse (finally)!! We also found a new house but there is about a month difference between when we sell our house and when we can move into the new house. So on the first of August we moved our stuff into storage and we moved down to Newnan. We will be staying with my sister (and LEA) for that month.
