Alex 3 years 3 months and Zach 10 months

Boy's continue to grow!  People keep telling me Alex is getting taller - hopefully that is true.  He is still super skinny but he has finally crossed the 30 lbs threshold!  Zach is over 20 lbs so my back is really starting to hurt.  He just started crawling regularly and moves fast.  He is really good at playing independently.  He often crawls into the playroom and he could easily be in there for an hour playing by himself (wish this would rub off on his brother).

We were looking for something different to do so I found this place where you can walk around and interact with all these miniature animals.  Alex surprised me that he was into it since in the past he wants nothing to do with the animals.

Zach just wished he could get out and pet the animals.

The boys took their first bath together.  Alex would much rather take one on his own but he is getting use to his brother joining him.  As long as I say 'you better hurry upstairs or your brother will get in front' he forgets the fact that he doesn't want to take a bath with his brother and he gets upstairs because worse than taking a bath with his brother is his brother sitting in front.

Dr Alex!

Zach likes to crawl everywhere!

Love this face!  And the hair!!

Pete took Alex to watch the Milton High School Band again!  He really had a fun time!

The Davies' came over to play.  This was the first time Alex cried when it was time for them to leave. He really does love his cousins (well sorry to say it is mostly just Lea - hopefully eventually he will be thick as thieves with Trent).

After Alex being so much littler than Trent it is nice to see Zach bigger than Spencer.

Zach will definitely be my tough guy.  He hits his head, falls over, etc and never really cries - he just moves on!!

Chaos is going on around him and he is unfazed!!

The Davies' kids definitely show more love to Zach than his brother does, hopefully one day that will change.  I do have to say Alex has his moments though.  The other day I was making a smoothie and Alex hates the noise the blender makes so he always goes in the other room.  Zach isn't a big fan of the noise either.  I turned the blender on and went into the other room to check on the boys and Alex was bent over his brother comforting him so at least there are SMALL moments where he is good to his brother.

My short hair!!  I know it isn't that short but it was for me!!

This is what Alex wanted Daddy to be for Halloween.

Sunrise over downtown Atlanta.

Zach and his girlfriend!  He has really taken to this baby doll lately!

Christina sent me these pictures of her kids.  Naomi in her glasses and below River enjoying the pumpkin patch!

Pete and I got away for the weekend to enjoy our 5 year wedding anniversary.  We spend Saturday tailgating with some of my oldest friends the Dungey's.  Avery also joined us for the fun!

Rose, myself, and Beth.  Our dad's went to law school together at Florida!

Zach trying out his Halloween costume.  I got it in March and he has grown a little to fast and might not be able to wear it for trick or treating.

Yummmmm tastey!!

Alex's first trip to Chuck E Cheese!  He really enjoyed it - I guess what kid wouldn't!  He especially liked riding the horse!!

Here are Zach's 9 month pictures!!

Alex 3 years 2 months/Zach 9 months

We are slowly starting to learn what it means for summer to end.  Alex started back at his second year of pre-school.  He has several of the same kids in his class and he is quickly developing new 'girlfriends'.  This year so far it is Cammie!  Every day he walks into class and says 'Where's Cammie'.  He tells me that we should invite her over for a play date.  One of the other mom's from his class tells me her son is always talking about Alex, so when I ask Alex if he is playing with Sean too, he says no just Cammie!  Alex is a ladies man.  When Cammie isn't there he has his back-up Lucia.

Alex's new hard hat and tool belt!

Zach ready for the football season to start!

Zach loves the hard hat too!

Cheese!  Alex's new funky hair!

Happy Zach!

We stopped by Alex's old daycare the other day so he could see his girlfriend Annabelle!d  She was very happy to see him.  It was so cute on the playground some of the boys were playing a little rough with Alex and Annabelle was so protective of him.  She went up to the teacher kind of crying that they were being mean to Alex (they weren't really being mean - they were just excited to see Alex and holding his hand and running a little faster than Alex could keep up)!  So cute!

Happier Zach!

Labor Day weekend Alex's friend Lucas (my friend Avery's son) came to town for a visit!  We had a great time playing all weekend!

Alex got some new shoes made him look older to me!!  My baby is slowly growing up!!

So not sure if most of you know but Alex has had some issues with his eyes.  We have been wearing a patch on his strong eye 2 - 4 hours a day and the doctor was thinking we were going to have surgery.  Last time we went in he said we might be able to avoid the surgery and he prescribed glasses (see below).  Hopefully that will help to correct things!!

Video:  Alex tells me how to make Jello!

The boys being silly!

Go bears!!

Pete and his mini-me in glasses!

Shhhh don't tell Alex that Zach has Woody!

Alex helping me out with a little grocery shopping!

Video:  Zach and his army crawl.  Zach is getting around really good and he keeps getting faster.  He has started rocking on his hands and knees a few times so I'm sure the real crawling is coming soon.  It is so interesting to see how the boys are different from one another.  Alex hardly got into anything and we barely did baby proofing.  It will be a completely different story with Zach!  His current favorite is electrical outlets and the cords plugged into them!

Beautiful butterfly at the park.

Love this picture!!  My boys!!
