Alex - 16 months

Little buddy is becoming a big time explorer these days. He started out his 16 month relying on objects/fingers to help him get around (http://youtu.be/dbVOWnfCnfQ) but by the end of the month he was flying solo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtQnDh8CUmE). His first official walk date is 10/22 but within two weeks of that he was basically running around.

The Gators have had a rough year but that hasn't stopped Alex from cheering for them.

Alex is really, really into dogs (from a far). He was mesmerized by a dog out in front of the house in this picture.

A beautiful butterfly Alex and I saw on our walk.

Mr. Sophisticated!

My family came into town for Tara Oliver's Wedding (family friend from way back in the day).

Christina and Matt. If you haven't heard they are expecting their first at the end of February.

Learning how to operate the front camera on my new iPhone.

Not the best picture but oh well!

The whole Sleepy Hollow crew.

Watching the Florida game (on Pete's iPhone) at the reception.

Great picture of my mom and dad.

Alex and I on a COLD October morning.

Alex's first haircut. I have no idea what I'm doing but it did actually look better when I was done.

Alex wasn't so sure that would be the case.

But it did look better in the end.

Daycare Halloween parade.

Alex the Fireman.

Alex dressed up for our neighborhood party. Doesn't he look thrilled. :)

Alex and I ready for a walk.

Before the walk...

... halfway through the walk.

Surprise!!

Working on his model posing.

Learning that mom freaks out when I stick my finger up my nose!! :)

My sweet bruiser!

Alex displaying his strength and his Polish nose!!

His new thing that I think is the cutest thing ever. The "I don't know" hands.

Alex's first REAL haircut!

He doesn't look like my baby anymore!

Alex - 15 months

I'm a little behind on getting this post out there. It has been a busy month. Although this post only covers 9/15 - 10/15 I do have to give a sneak peak of next month. Alex officially walked on his own on 10/22. Every day he walks more and more on his own. He is slowly getting the confidence to do what I know he can do!! He will be running around before we know it.

Alex getting ready for the Tennessee game!!

And the big ND game!

Fun at the cousins house.

Getting ready for his big trip to Chicago for Ben and Mandy's wedding (Alex's 3rd trip to Chicago).

We got lucky on the way there and Alex had his own seat. It really made things a lot easier but not sure I want to invest that $200 or more just yet.

Hanging with Grandpa Mikos!

And trying to walk with Grandma Mikos!

Hanging with friends Ella...

and Olivia.

And his pal Lukas.

Ben and Mandy's beautiful wedding at Columbia Yacht Club.

The beautiful Chicago Skyline.

Pete and I enjoying the night out.

View of the Hancock Building at night.

The guys - Tom, Derek, and Pete

View from our hotel room. Our second night ever away from the little buddy!

Alex having fun at Auntie Lauren's.

He is really into playing with doors - opening and closing, just closing and knocking on them.

Lauren text us this picture before we got there in the morning and said "King Alex". Very fitting.

Alex is now a home owner. I found this deal at a garage sale and Alex LOVES it!!

He loves opening and shutting the windows. He gets so excited - makes it all worth it!!

We went down to Newnan for the LSU game and had a fun time handing with cousins and friends. Alex is really becoming an toddler - he is getting so much better at playing with others and getting around.

Lea, Alex, and Julia. Julia really took a liking to Alex - it was so sweet!

Playing in his cousin's house.

The kids - Alex, Julia, Ryan, Lea and Trent

Love this picture!

Alex LOVES dogs, but usually from a far - this is a rare moment where he was enjoying a dog up close.
