Slacker (but for a good reason)

I have been a big slacker with this blog lately but it is for a good reason!!! Pete and I are expecting our first baby!! I haven't felt much like getting off the couch lately so that is the main reason for the lack of post! I'm at 13 weeks and I think I'm slowly starting to feel better. Pete are very excited about our new addition. The due date is August 1st!! Here are a few pictures from what we have been up to the past two months...

Little Trent continues to grow. Seems he has colic so it has been kind of rough for the Davies family but they are still excited and enjoying their latest addition.

In mid December Pete and I went down to Newnan to celebrate Christmas with the Davies. Lea was her usual ham - she had Pete running all around the house!!!

Here is one of the new outfits we got for Lea's babies.

Once her baby had a head band Lea insisted on putting on one herself!! Along with her tutu of course!!!

Little Trent - doing what he does often... sleeping!

Getting practice snuggling with a baby!!

Lea ready for the bright sun and the cold weather!

Trent is just ready for the cold weather.

Around the new year it was really cold in Atlanta - we even got a little snow. It stayed on the ground (or at least the side walk for several days).

We were suppose to have Nancy and Lauren come visit us for Nancy's 60th birthday but sadly on the morning they were suppose to fly out Grandpa Studz passed away so instead we made our way up to Chicago. I had made Nancy a cake so instead of her getting to enjoy the cake she just got to enjoy the picture of the cake. Thankfully Pete didn't let it go to waste. He took one for the team and ate about 85% of the cake in less than 24 hours.

A shot and a cheer for Grandpa Studz!! He will be deeply missed!! He was a great man!!

Little baby Mikos!!! This past Thursday we got to see our baby! It doesn't look like he has any arms or legs in the picture but the nurse assured us they were there (I think we saw them - just hard to tell). We did see the spine and the brain - it was really cool!!

Welcome Trenton Timothy Davies

Trenton Timothy Davies was born at 7:27pm on 11/27 (Friday).

Weighing in at 7.096 lbs

Proud Papa!

Trent's first day at home

Big sister Lea is happy Trent has finally arrived. She was getting tired of the fake babies!!

Lea kissing her baby brother

Me holding little Trent

She was very interested in holding her baby brother at first...

But then she realized cartoons were on and he wasn't all that interesting anymore

Kissing Sasha's spot

coloring

Lea loving on her uncle Matt

Getting ready for the Gator game

Mom and Lea at the park

Lea getting loved on by a puppy

Lea winning the race up the slide

She is a strong little monkey

But she isn't very found of her shadow chasing her

showing mom that she did take a nap

even if she had to fake it for the camera

I love the way she carries her baby. She always put her hand behind her head like that.

She was having fun with her new toys

Until she put on her outside outfit!!

Too cute!!

Lea doesn't really know what is coming...

Lisa is due in just over a week and I'm so interested to see how Lea reacts to not being the Queen of the household any longer. She is getting so big and really developing such a fun personality. She is so stubborn and strong willed!! Should be an interesting dynamic in the Davies household soon!!!

I found this older picture on Pete's iPhone from when we moved in. Lea was eating her lunch on our driveway and looking cute as always!!!

Lea has been having fun with the fall weather.

What kid doesn't like to be raked up with the leaves.

Or buried in them!

We went down to Newnan for another Gator game. Lea was dressed in her Gator gear as normal!!

She still love, loves her uncle Pete!!

Lea has him playing some type of game!

Lea is REALLY into baby dolls. Here she is feeding them but she like to bathe them, put them to bed, etc.

Uncle Pete getting more love!

So Tim and Lea were playing with chalk the other day and he had her lay down and drew her outline. Now she wants to do it all the time. And not only that she wants her 8 month pregnant mom to get down on the ground so she can draw her too! Lisa wasn't having that!!!

Her left arm was a stub because she was moving to much!!

More leaves!!!
