Houston June 08

Pete and I went to Houston this past weekend for a wedding. We also got to spend time with my family. My cousin Chris and his family just moved back from living in Paris for about three years so it was nice to visit with everyone all at once.

Cooley Family Vacation 08

This year we went to New Symrna Beach. Unfortunately Pete was not able to join us this year - he had a fun weekend in Chicago with his friends and family though.

Lea is really getting good at walking!!

Lea wasn't crazy about her feet touching the sand. As the week went on she got better. At first when you put her down on the sand she'd start crying and wouldn't stop until you got all the sand off her feet. By the end she wouldn't cry but she'd pick her feet up like you see in this video.

She got really good at pointing out birds and actually saying the word.
